The way this world is today, it wouldn't shock me to learn that they were BOTH behind the murder. It's certainly happened before.

Happened here in SE Virginia (Gloucester County) about 15-20 years ago. A 14-15 year old girl was involved in the setup murder of both her parents by a "love struck" 18-19 year old. I believe he is on death row and she was released from juvenile prison/detention when she turned 18.

It's hard for me to imagine that the girl was in on the murder of her parents, and that she wasn't traumatized by it.

That said, unfortunately, in this day and age, anything is possible.
