The way this world is today, it wouldn't shock me to learn that they were BOTH behind the murder. It's certainly happened before.

That was my first thought when I heard that she was his "secret girlfriend," and not many parents of 14 year olds want their daughter dating an 18 year old. Thoughts, Joanie?

I wouldn’t want to speculate.

I know Ludwig wasn’t welcome in the Borden home. It appears that Kara may have been seeing him secretly. So, whether she left with him voluntarily or not, the bad decisions of a teenage girl have resulted in the violent death of her parents, with her younger brother perhaps even witnessing their brutal murder. The four other children (two of them still living at home) are the completely innocent victims of this tragedy.

I’d like to assume she has a conscience. If and when she is found alive, whether she was complicit or not, her nightmare will have just begun.

So very sad.
