Police say the couple's nine-year-old son David, the youngest of five children, had fled to a neighbor's house and called 9-1-1. An older daughter still living at home and two adult sons are also safe.

Smart 9 year old. I'm so glad they've been apprehended. Such a needless tragedy. What a shame that young David will have to grow up without his parents.
