Out of curiosity, why do people put an exclamation point after Hillary's name? Who started this trend?
During the 2000 NY Senate race, Hillary! plastered the state with signs that said "Hillary!", and nothing else. With the breathless coverage she got in the media at the time, the boldface/exclamation point treatment was not far from what you could see in any media outlet. Thus, Hillary!.
