If you think any candidate who is not at least "moderate" like Pirro will ever win statewide in NY, you're mistaken.

If you believe that anyone even moderately conservative will ever win in NY State for the forseeable future, you're completely bonkers.

It won't happen. The best that can be done is to challenge the far left Demodogs with some "moderate" - thus Bloomberg, Gulianni, Pataki, etc... They may be very frustrating to those of us who would like someone with more committment to conservative values, but they are far less destructive to our nation and the state than the Demodogs.

I never even addressed the issue of a conservative candidate in NY. Last Conservative that won was Buckley. Pirro is a serious candidate only in her own mind. No money is coming in. She's just a nothing the party put up just so as to have candidate, a body, a name. She's no different than the Republican "candidate" for the mayor of NY's capital city who got about 6% of the vote. Just a body and a name.
