"The active, intrusive intervention was performed throughout the life of young Kevin McCormick - by government and by malevolent social elements who willfully promote and enable degeneracy. He was conditioned, guilted, and shamed to reject Western pride and decency, and to embrace a putrid life of self-destruction."

Who's disagreeing? But there are an awful lot of people who went through the same intervention and conditioning and DIDN'T fall prey to the idiocy. This guy did. There is a lot to be said for simple, reflexive common sense, especially the time-honored proverbs and cliches like 'Rainbow at night, GET THAT HAMSTER AWAY FROM YOUR ANUS, YOU #@$#!@$#@! MORON!' There are Darwin awards for people like this because people generally know better without having to be told.

"Legislative remedies, at best, are a matter of fighting fire with fire. Naturally, success depends on who makes the law, and for what selfish purposes."

Legislative remedies aren't. Removing the laws and agencies that promote this stuff is the best solution; truth will out. That degeneracy is now promoted by government does not mean the solution to restoring normal society is to suppress the same perversions promoted through new government. I've often wondered how many kids have experimented with taboos school programs 'educate' them about, simply because they learned about them in school and reject school. And as I said above, people generally know better without having to be told, and if they are that stupid they NEED telling, don't we want these people playing in traffic anyway?

The Darwin angle is logical and refreshing - but not when it's your son, daughter, loved one, or even yourself who hasn't the power to escape the countless psychological factors which are forced upon youth.

You are quite right that teenagers believe rules are meant to be broken. (I agree with them!) In reality, a major trait of the Leftist machine is to punish that independence by using every "zero-tolerance" nanny-state measure they can dream-up -- if not in some genocidal dictatorship then in latte-fueled PTA meetings.

The only "rebellion" liberals allow comes in the form of petty self-denigration. Tattoos, piercings, drinking and smoking. Only this list of defiance occurs "rules or no rules, man!"... and we all think that we've won some great prize when we get away with it! All other dissenting expression is treated as thought-crime or hate-crime, quickly thwarted by pop-culture and policies of tolerance, multiculturalism, etc.

The youths in baggy jeans and crooked caps are thoroughly convinced that they are the first persons in history to "act out". In reality, they are made a walking spectacle of conformity - tools molded by insidious leaders who wish to kill Americanism... that is, what ever small amount is left in our kids by age 5.

Or in the case of one brilliant engineer, by age 29.
