Thank you for your informative points...

I wouldn't claim to be a scholar on Nietzsche, but I believe his influence is compatible with my commentary - he obviously had no control over those future whores who would twist his views to justify their deviant lifestyles.

Yes, that is a major problem with Nietzsche: his philosophy has very little do with his legacy, since over the decades his philosophy has been twisted to support many despicable schools of thought, most notably Nazism (his sister was a strong supporter of Nazism in the early years, and when Nietzsche passed she inherited all of his works. Those letters and writings not already published were edited to support Nazism, those works already published were re-edited and re-released in a new Nazified form). I would even argue that Nietzsche wasn't a part of the greater European Nihilistic movement, though certainly he retained many of the terms and explanations of nihilism in his writings; but that would be a topic far, far removed from the rest of this thread, which I believe centers on hamsters and Richard Gere.
