I feel so bad for the women. Her son died for a cause he believed in and she hated, the death broke up her marriage, either she drove away her other children or they abandoned her.
I suppose the logical outcome of a life of hatred is to live alone, but I still pity her.
I'm more of the Mr. T, "I pity the fool!" school of thought myself, when it comes to her. ;) She's mentally ill, IMHO.
