Should a guy have to search through a 6,000+ post thread to find the final vote tally of this extremely important breaking news? Another one who hasn't ever thought about punching in at the end.
If the other 70,000 of us can find out the number without putting up a thread about it, why are you people so special?

Woo Hoo!
If you want a perfect example of the influence of us 'ordinary' Americans just look at what happened in the House of Representatives tonight. A vote of 403-3 against surrendering in Iraq!
And who voted AGAINST... Pennsylvania congressman John Murtha a day after his statement of surrender, a 'shot heard around the world' including by Al-Jazerra where he was the top story yesterday.
The power new media in forums like Free Republic, Hannity Forums, the blogosphere and talk radio was on display today.
The FReepers here Free Republic rang Murtha's phones off the hook, caused his fax machines to run our of paper and filled his email inboxes. See this thread: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1524448/posts
Way to ge everyone who took time out to call, fax and email their representatives in the House and Senate!!! You are all 'Great Americans'!

He should have followed up the title with "House Republicans grow a spine, first time for this session." Ahhh, yes, can't have good news without the obligatory idiocy.

I agree with you -- I want to see vote totals when I log on to FR. Wouldn't even know they were there if we had to wade through a thread.

I want to know who the 2 Republicans that had voted 'yea' before changing to 'nay' and who did the ass kicking to persuade these RINOs to change their vote... I wondered about that as well. It seems difficult to believe they would be allowed to change their votes...and it seems equally difficult to believe they were tallied incorrectly.

Mainly because of stupid remarks like yours.
