We are forever in Murtah's debt for his service to our country. He has certainly earned the right to express his opinion. That doesn't mean, however, that for the rest of his life he can do no wrong and he gets a free pass.

I heard him described as Pelosi's closest confident. That wrapped it up for me.

Have you noticed, the left, among them the very same ones who called them "baby-killers" during Viet Nam are the same ones who now say "He is a decorated War Hero! How dare you attack him!"

I listened to the beginning of the vote on XM. At the very beginning Murtha (I think) said he wanted debate in the tradition of the Fulbright hearings.

For those of us old enough to remember, it said it all.
