Forgive my ignorance. What years did David and Solomon live? Wasn't that quite before Mohammed's time? Are the islamics now claiming that islam always existed, that we just didn't know about it until the revelation of it to humans? How did David and Soloman know how to be proper muslims prior to the revelation of the koran? Maybe the cavemen were jews and christians, they just didn't know it. Is that where we are headed with this?
The Bible portrays David and Jonathan (son of King Saul) as friends, but gives no indication that they had a homosexual relationship (although some people have tried to read that into the text, notably the Rev. Billy James Hargis). I've never heard anyone say that Solomon was a homosexual...after all, he had about a million wives (according to Huckleberry Finn).
