I have a couple of friends who have digital cameras and never use them. I am going to ask if I can have them to stick in Christmas care packages to a couple of troops on my list. I just want photos of good things- happy people... all the stuff the media refuses to print.

Of course we will encourage those with the cameras to make sure they do not violate military sensorship rules. I would not want a innocent picture giving the enemy any information.

Love the idea!! Are there no patriotic dig cam manufacturers that can contribute too?
Can't we co-ordinate with some military photographers?? Is there such a thing stationed with our troops?
