Vietnam's catfish have been considered to serve as input materials for McDonald's, the world's leading fast food producer, said an executive of the An Giang Fisheries Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
The company recently received representatives from Mazzetta, a major supplier to McDonald's, who visited Vietnam to inquire into shrimp breeds and the possibility of supplying Mc Donald's restaurants with Vietnamese catfish.

McD's was all set to launch ostrich burgers once - the best meat in the world for you and your health. Then PETA stepped in to protest, and they caved.

Is catfish traife? Thanks. Jews eat carp which is very similar and both live on the bottom
Examples of unkosher fish include shark, catfish and eels.....
My guess is this Vietnamese fish will be served in McDonalds abroad. Maybe later on in the USA if it goes over well
