I'd be perfectly happy to pay an extra 25 cents per pound on chicken parts if it meant that American citizens were getting paid a living wage to cut those birds apart. You know those surveys that ask, "Are you willing to pay more for better quality products?" Well, I'm one of those folks that will save up a bit more to pay a bit more for an item that will last longer. I'm willing to pay a bit more for an economy that will last longer .... one built on decent wages paid to my fellow citizens. Hell, I guess my neighbor might have to even mow his lawn or clean his pool himself, or maybe make his teenager do it. Or get it done less frequently.

The hidden truth that businesses don't want you to see is that you are paying that anyway, because businesses aren't. You are paying it in the form of taxes which, in turn, subsidize illegals with health care, social services, and educational benefits. The business bottom line improves and you get the bill on April 15. Neat, huh.

Good. Hopefully it won't be more than 25 cents a pound on chicken parts but then once you calculate what FICA will cost... chickens just might get expensive. :-)

Yeah, right, Russ. The friend of your enemy is NOT your friend.

I would to!!!!! Example, Irons... my expensive, made in china, iron bit the dust and I borrowed one from my neighbor... her's is one of the old, heavy-duty made in USA irons... let me tell you, there is no comparison! Would I pay more for a new iron of that quality? Absolutely.
