Note the word enemies, above. When I read that word, I think of the Democrats - the Clintons, Levin, Kennedy, Kerry, Schumer, Pelosi, Leahy, Boxer, Feinstein, Biden, Reid, Dean, et cetera, ad nauseum, RINO's, and the media. If the current pack of DemoRats had been at Valley Forge, they would have deserted or surrendered.
Their kind did desert and surrender during the Valley Forge tribulation and others - also became Tories or sympathizers.
We won then because a critical core of people stood against adversity and betrayal. We should be able to win now if we and the leaders we support maintain against the current adversities and betrayals.
If they were at Valley Forge, George Washington would have offered them a Blindfold and a Cigarette.
