Nevada Senator Harry Reid thinks Osama Bin Laden was killed in last month's earthquake in Pakistan.
Speaking Wednesday on News 4's Nevada News Makers, Reid says he was informed today that Bin Laden may have died in the October temblor.
"I heard today that he may have died in the earthquake that they had in Pakistan, seriously." Reid says that if that is the case, "that's good for the world."
When asked about Bin Laden during an exclusive News 4 interview, Reid said, "I'm not sure he is alive anymore. I think perhaps the earthquake took him down. I certainly hope so."
Where did Harry Reid hear this?
From an intelligence briefing?
Then he's sharing confidential information, isn't he?
Isn't that a crime?
Isn't that at least very stupid, and perhaps dangerous to our efforts in the War on Terror?
What is the matter with these people?
I'll bet he does.
Anything other than Bush catching him would be a great victory for the rats.
This is his entry before he insists that we cut and run. Of course, coming from him we won't need to verify, will we? Then there's his right hand man in Iraq, but I'm certain we can assume that if bin Laden is out of the picture, he'll stop the massacre. Right? I can hardly wait...the media will have him on every talk show possible telling his theory.
An act of GOD.................
Well, the Dems are the Acid Trip Party, so Reid probably thinks "Instant Karma" finally got bin Laden...four years later.
This just blows my mind.
If Reid received this from an intel briefing, and it hasn't been made public, then it probably hasn't been confirmed, or there's a good REASON why it hasn't been made public.
The Party of Leaks must NEVER be trusted with national security.
The idea that Bin Laden is dead has been circulated far and wide for some time now.
He's got "Leaky Syndrome" ... but the MSM will ignore the security implications ...
If true...
But how many U.S. Senators have publicly commented on it?
Example: I'm convinced that the recent spate of Dems demanding a withdrawal from Iraq is actually a gambit. They're banking on the milestones being achieved soon, and drawdowns starting next year. By doing what they've been doing recently, when American troops start coming home, they can claim:
1) That the troops are coming home because they said they should come home (retroactively flexing some nonexistant political muscle, to mollify their base);
2) That the war was a failure and the Administration is just realizing it, in spite of the milestones actually being achieved (offensive);
3) That they were right the entire time and the Administration knows it (self-aggrandizement).
Needless to say, expect the MSM to go along with all of thse talking points. Reid is trying to pull something like this. Think like a Dem strategist and try to figure out what he's doing here.
I recall another Freeper talking about the paki EQ with Katrina still on our minds. Something about how our children and our children's children will pass down the story of the praising of allah for the destruction of the U.S. from the Great Wind, only to have the true God rein destruction on them 8000-fold worse. (My apologies for the plagerism - but I really liked the Freeper's idea of a new story in the making and wanted to pass it on).
That said, I've still been donating to the e.q. victims and say my prayers for them. Even Osama. (And dear God, I hope you got Osama...)
"This is his entry before he insists that we cut and run."
Yes. The Dhims like to ask "where's bin Laden?" in the same breath they ask about Iraq's WMDs, but they don't really want to go after him either.
When I pass through Henderson NV next month, I'll be sure to lift a leg in ol' Harry's honor.
I'd say you're on to something here. You're onto at least three things here. Very prescient post.
Send him my warmest regards as well, please.
And where is Reid getting his information from?
