Martin, thanks for the ping. I've missed you. I'm a good and decent nutcase with a slight drinking problem that rears it's ugly head about two or three times a year, with unhappy results.
Anyhow........ about a "class team" .......... I don't have time to find the articles on this, but apparently the higher ups at Indy decided to add some extra NOISE on their own to the stadium sound system that night while the Stillers were on offense........ making it impossible for the Stillers to hear much of anything on the line of scrimmage.
So class went out the doors that night, at least with the owners of Indy.
The game should NEVER be decided by enhanced crowd noise................ although I think Indy would have still kicked our poor-tackling *sses that night.
If we meet Indy again down the road............ look for the NFL to be good to the Stillers with the officials that day!
