Most individuals... made stupid decisions... or are young...

some very few were born into conditions which make measurable success in earning and garnering wealth essentially impossible, but this is not true for the overwhelming majority.

Does that include the wheelchair-bound military vet with a arm and a leg he left behind in Fallujah who is living month-to-month off of a $2100-a-month VA disability check?

Totally agree. That said, I have a friend who says that average is pretty stupid. He is right. We don't encourage the extinction of stupidity by rewarding it with other people's stuff.
