Former President Clinton told a global audience of diplomats, environmentalists and others Friday that the Bush administration is "flat wrong" in claiming that reducing greenhouse-gas emissions to fight global warming would damage the U.S. economy.

".. In 1997, the U.S. Senate adopted the Byrd-Hagel Resolution by 95-0, urging the Clinton Administration not to sign any climate-change protocol that "would result in serious harm to the economy." In 1998 Al Gore signed the Protocol. Yet President Clinton, who was in Montreal yesterday to scold the Bush Administration for its inaction, never submitted it to the Senate."

As Rush pointed out yesterday, when he said that the only reason Clintoooon is talking up the "Kyoto treaty" right now, is the fact that he is bucking for the Socialist's "Nobel Peace Prize" in order to rehabilitate his sordid legacy.

It is as Rush said, noone gets that "prize" unless he bashes America --- especially when he's on foreign soil. We all know that's how much lower Carter had to be willing to sink to get his.

These two feminized, self-focused males will go down into the dustbid of history where they belong --- along with all the rest of the dime-a-dozen, vacuous "beautiful people" and cynical opportunists who only applaud and hand out "prizes" to each other.

They have their reward.

Both Clintons and McCain have a lot in common. I would not trust either of them for one second with my wallet. I'd call them snakes, but that would be insulting to reptiles.

All this Kyoto regulations are being pushed through on America by the NGOs of the United Nations. Did you know that most of the American companies have to file a emission report to the EPA which they are manditory to turn over the report to the United Nations. The Senate in the House and their staff are so easily led. It is frightening that our Senators and House Members would vote by these reports. They are all made up.

I couldn't agree more.

I wish GWB would GET IT and stop making an a** out of himself. It makes him look VERY stupid.

...and the Clinton administration didn't sign Kyoto either.

DOOMSDAY CALLED OFF
Sunday November 27, 2005 at 7pm ET on CBC Newsworld

In this eye-opening documentary viewers will discover how the most respected researchers from all over the world explode the doom and gloom of global warming.

Humans stand accused of having set off a global climate catastrophe by increasing the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

The prophecy of doom is clear and media pass on the message uncritically.

Now serious criticism has arisen from a number of heavyweight independent scientists. They argue that most of the climatic change we have seen is due to natural variations.

They also state that if CO 2 is to play a role at all -it will be minuscule and not catastrophic!

This story presents a series of unbiased scientists as our witnesses.
We will hear their eloquent criticism of the IPCC conclusions illustrated by coverage of their research work.

I recently watched this documentary and in my opinion it makes a slam dunk case against the whole global warming theory as one being based in politics and junk science that contradicts fact (surprising from CBC)... I recommend it highly... One may find it now on NNTP in the alt.binaries.documentaries newsgroup or possibly on bittorrent.
