What idiots - Newsday's just wishful thinking that either man would gather enough enthusiasm to pass the smell test. It's a case of which porcupine would be the easiest to cozy up to - neither.
Note to the big guns in the back room at the GOP - either of these fellows and you can expect another 1996 (Dole/Kemp for those with short memories.)
