Life is a crap shoot. You lay your money down and take your chances. If you have led a good life, and have good friends, you might be allowed to win. If you are a loser, you get to lose.

Is there a countdown clock somewhere on the internet? I'm too lazy to write one.

The riots may not be just in California. I'd be prepared if I lived in NYC or Philly.
New Orleans has been neutralized, TG.

He can now say that since the CSC couldn't find any legal discrepancies he is obligated to side with justice as being written by law and judged by the jury of peers. Or he could just say it's the right thing to do to a convicted, ruthless killer....
at least Arnold has an escape clause
Escape clause from what?
I can understand the feeling of because he's a Republican he doesn't have a spine but he is NOT going to spare the worthless life of Tookie....

I should have started sooner. I think it's 26 1/2 to go. I'm no good at subtraction.

I've read about that case (the one you linked to) - Absolutely awful situation and decision by the courts.

You brought up a good point, Palladin.

"I thought he could still grant clemency. You're saying he can't. That's great news."
I'm not saying he can't grant clemency; I'm saying he technically doesn't have to do anything, if he doesn't want to. He doesn't have to intervene if he so chooses. He can just sit by and do nothing and the murderer will be executed.
