I agree. In fact, Arnold is not obligated to announce a decision and may not announce one.

Leftists are going try dragging in the 9th circus on some "violation of federal civil rights" argument. That will probably get a stay from those morons

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has already ruled on Tookie and rejected his appeal. There is nothing they can or will do.

It's not up to Arnold now. He doesn't have to step in. He doesn't have to say or do anything. He can silently allow justice to be served.

----So what you are saying is that Arnold cannot stop this? I thought it was still up to him and if he grants clemency, then Tookie could still live.

The odds are actually slimmer than that. Arnold, in a sense, whould have to give his political life in exchange for sparing Tookie's actual life.

Well I for one would hope any politician would forsake "their" political life for that of a real life if they felt that was intellectually the correct course of action.

But don't mince my words here though - I did not say I believe Tookie shouldn't be executed.

It's always been my impression that most of the liberal-activist types don't have jobs. Or mortgages. Or kids with orthodontists.

Just alot of pie-in-the-sky loonie tunes ideas that completely deny natural law, trying to turn man into a bunch of happy gerbils living in a cage.

Or the 45 million babies... and they don't get put to sleep either, they get sucked up or chopped up. No anesthesia.

Since Arnold has been a disappointment in all things republican recently... I'm getting the feeling he'll overturn it. (Ducking) If he does, the Crips will have a crime spree party to celebrate.

He probably has to put something in writing. At least to legally acknowledge he got the petition.

"Isn't it one minute after midnight on Tuesday? Or is it in a little over three hours?"

It's on Tuesday, December 13 at 12:01. If this is wrong, someone please correct me.
