Bahrain: Where Allah cannot see. Loophole in the Koran?!
Muslims Ransack Oakland Stores and Official Tom Green Road Trip ^

Posted on 12/12/2005 6:40:32 PM PST by Beowulf9

"...about the lifestyles of the Muslim elite. Have you ever been to Bahrain, the wonderful island with casinos and liquor and available women? A friend of mine who is an Air Force officer stationed in that part of the world once asked a Muslim business man why they can get away with all of that in this one spot. The guy winked and pointed to a mountain and said something like “Allah cannot see over that mountain!” I am not making this up!" http://bareknucklepolitics.com/?p=332

"Bahrain is, in a sense, the Las Vegas of The Middle East. Muslims say that a black cloud hangs over Bahrain that Allah cannot see through. Because of this, alcohol is allowed. (It is prohibited in most Muslim countries). Apparently they found a loophole in the Koran. It is a city filled with Saudi Arabian Sheiks who essentially come to party". http://www.tomgreen.com/uso.php

A friend of my husbands is a serviceman who recently came back from Bahrain. He said the belief by the Muslims is that Allah cannot see down into Bahrain and there you can do as you want. In fact he laughed and said, 'yeah they all go over there to forget about their religion. Allah can't them in Bahrain, they say'.

I found this hard to believe and looked it up on the net and found the literal translation of the word Bahrain is "Two Seas". I wonder if for them that has a double meaning. I'm interested to know if anyone else had heard about this?

The 9/11 terrorists obviously didn't think "Allah" could see them here, either. During their years living with us before the attacks a lot of them regularly went to bars and strip clubs.

In 1991 my DH spent a few weeks as a civilian in Saudi Arabia. When he left the pilot announced that they had left Saudi air space and the line formed for the women's toilet. In the women went with their long black robes and out they came in designer clothes and lots of gold jewelry . . . . and apparently the drink cart came out, too.

I think the someone was pulling his leg.

Alot of muslims can, and will look the other way sometimes for the right amount of money or what not, and then just play games.

Either that, or those guys intend to booze, gamble, whore it up and then "martyr" themselves.

Islam is a religion invented by a caravan raider, and is full of exceptions through which you can drive 20 camels through.

For example, you can lie, if you do it for cause.

You can rape, if the woman you rape is your captive.

You can commit homosexual activities if your parner is your captive.

Muslim homosexuals prick each other with needles, and having drawn blood, they can do as they wish with a good conscience. After all, they have fought and won a battle, therefore are entitled to a little fun....

Completely cynical religion. There are virtuous Muslims, but it is because they are vituous people, not because of Islam.

Well, then surely Jesus Christ trumps this "Allah" forevermore; for better or for ill (mostly the latter in my case, for I sin), God Almighty is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. Jesus fortunately saves and forgives, while this "Allah" character apparently is some form of petty demon who convinces people to kill themselves and the innocents.

I don't think anyone is pulling his leg. When my father was stationed in Doha, Qatar, he told me the joke was that Allah could not see through the roof of a man's house. So basically, what he did in his own house was not governed by Allah. Similar concept.

Well I guess I'm thinking that's why Michael Jackson moved there, because it's considered okay by his 'friends' and is readily available with having to explain yourself in court afterwards.

'What happens in Bahrain stays in Bahrain'.

I remember this from my time over there. The Saudis would make the drive across the causeway, party hard in Bahrain, then head back home and condemn people for doing what they just got done doing. Overall, Bahrain's not too bad a place, just a bit barren.

Allah cannot see what we'll do to Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia.

There is dispensation while on Jihad...

Where the need to blend in with Allah's enemies in order to kill them...is more important than obeying the regular rules...just like Allah blessing lying to your enemies

There are times when sin is permissible for the greater Jihad

But Bahrain that's a whole nother cat...and quite a convenient one...at that

imo

I remember this from my time over there. The Saudis would make the drive across the causeway, party hard in Bahrain, then head back home and condemn people for doing what they just got done doing.

The ruling elites in Arab countries have always held themselves to a different (lower) standard of behavior. The piety the House of Saud has demanded of its subjects is notably lacking when they spend months at a time on the Spanish Riviera, where their appetite for booze and, um, working girls is reportedly so robust that it distorts local market prices.

Middle Eastern tyrants have long encouraged radical religion and funded Madrassas to keep the anger of their poor, illiterate masses directed at anyone but themselves. Conveniently, the tyrants also exercise rigid control over the local media, so that their people never see their debauchery. Only in recent years has the House of Saud -- notable but by no means alone in this -- seen the radicalism it has fostered come back to bite its own pampered butt.

Umm Qasr, on the Iraq side of the Kuwaiti border, was the Tijuana of Iraq before Saddam invaded Kuwait in 1990. Well-heeled Kuwaitis would go there to engage in the sins of the flesh before returning to their homes and their pretensions of purity.

St. Augustine long ago articulated the principle that Muslims besotted with oil money have raised to a lifestyle: "Lord, grant me chastity, but not now."

Speaking of MJ...

You know what Michael Jackson likes about twenty eight year olds?

There's twenty of them.

(O.K. It works better when you tell it...)
