Let's see - I got a raise this year; I have a good job; my 401(K) is doing well; oh, wait, maybe I'm doing well because I don't sit on my can and wait for 'the gummint' to provide my next welfare check. Gee, Nancy, think there might be a wider world than San Francisco, owned and operated by the homeless??

Which is even funnier - because I *live* in San Diego, and a) I got a big raise this year b) I'm paying under the norm for rent c) I got a new car for way cheap d) with better gas mileage and e) I put a grand in the bank, and $500 to Katrina victims.

I don't get what the heck her issue is. :\ I mean, does she even lead the same state that *I* live in?? Too frickin' bad I can't vote against her because she's not in my district, but I did tell every Republican person that called during this last election season that she needs to be sat down.

Amen brother. The wife and me have more than doubled our household income in the past 10 years. We are moving into our dream house in April when it is finished. It is a nicer house than I ever thought that I would live in.
Neither one of us came from money. We got where we are with hard work and no help from the government. If, according to Nancy, the economy sucks, I'm sure anxious to see what it will be like when it is good.
