No, we have state income tax. We also have a rainfall tax in may cities. It's calculated by the size of your roof. we vote as a red state but are taxed like a blue state. We are the 5th most taxed state in the nation. We have many well known universities but HS education is among the lowest in the nation. We have a very large entitlement system. We are also the fastest growing state for illegal immigration. Along with state sales tax we also have county and city sales tax. Now they want toll roads. Look out Mass. here we come.
