I am waiting to hear that we have pi$$ed them off enough to hear them start the slogan: "Country? We don't need your stinking country!" Then they can all leave because it is just so horrible here....

Yeah, I'm sure the Hollywierd types will jump on the bandwagon -- they don't want their source of cheap gardeners, maids, drivers and nannies to dry up.

Oh, goody. Finally the people who employ illegals are going to get their just desserts.

Here's an idea to retaliate. Build an even bigger wall to keep us out of Mexico. That should show us.

""Has coming here illegally become a right? You'd think so, to read these comments.""
Yes, absolutely so. Coming here legally and playing by the rules, on the other hand costs years and years and 10's of thousands of dollars not to mention countless hours dealing with the biggest and most inept beaurocracy in the world, the DHS/USCIS. I am in the midst of it.

I take it you love these invaders and will aid and abet them.
We will always take legal immigration with proper papers and a health check.
In fact if an immigrant was ill they were shipped back.

"If people in the U.S. and Canada had an accurate view of the success of democracy, political stability and economic prosperity in Mexico, it would improve their views on specific bilateral issues like immigration and border security," Rob Allyn, president of the PR firm, told The Associated Press Tuesday"
Like being run by seven corrupt families, one party control, and a justice system based on the Napoleonic code?
To: conservativegirl
the Mexican government is also hiring an American public relations firm to improve its image.
I can imagine the conversation Fox is having with the image consultant right now. Consultant: "Yes, Mr. Fox, the first step to fixing this problem is damage control. Do you see that burrito on the table?"
Fox:"Si, I see eet".
Consultant: "Good. I want you to shove it in your mouth so that you are prevented from saying anything else stupid, got it?"
Fox:"But the wall - it makes me loco"
Consultant: "uppp!! Burrito - mouth. Simple as that"

These are the people who chanted Osama Bin Ladin at the soccer game a few years ago. They already hate us, or at least hold us in contempt. They can go to hades as far as I'm concerned. What are they going to do, declare war?

And that is what scares me so... :O From the www.USBorderPatrol.com website (not the official Border Patrol site) -
The people of Mexico have been told how the Norte Americanos have stolen their country's land and wealth. For all the years of their schooling their teachers repeat the stories of how Mexico has the right to reclaim its land. They have been told of how their brothers and sisters were winning the battle and that they soon would take back California, Arizona and New Mexico. And that it was all being done one small step at a time. And the truth is
.. they really are doing it. First there is US citizenship for any Mexican child born in any American hospital of an illegal alien mother (and in Los Angeles County 66% of all births are to illegal alien mothers). The average Mexican woman averaged 6.8 children in 1970 and although this number is believed to have dropped since then it remains a bio-bomb of cataclysmic proportions. Honduran females today average 5.2 children, Guatemalans 5.1 children.
Somehow, I think that's their intent. :( But what really scares me is this quote:
Mexican illegal aliens have a name for themselves -- "Reconquistas" -- the re-Conquerors. They are reconquering American and turning it into a place just like the Mexico of today. Their symbol is an image of the original American flag -- with thirteen stars. This flag is used by them to signify how they intend to push the "gringos" back to the original thirteen states. Over this flag they place the word "Cuidadania" which means citizenship. It is through American citizenship that they will become permanent conquerors of our lands.
*shudder* The sad thing is that the coyotes make it so lucrative for the safe house runners and such, it's really hard for a family that's having a bad time making it to house and feed these illegals, but it turns into a nightmare quickly. Too bad I've had to see it. :(

We learned to believe in the United States. We have a binational life," he said of Zacatecas... It's against what we see as part of our life, our culture, our territory Did he really say 'our territory'???

We have a binational life," he said of Zacatecas, a state that has been sending migrants north for more than a century. "It isn't just a feeling of rejection. It's against what we see as part of our life, our culture, our territory." Interesting. "OUR territory." The Comanches have a better claim to Texas. The reason why the Mexicans allowed Austin to bring in settlers from the USA was that Anglos were better Indian fighters. They were to be a buffer between the Comanches and the Mexicans. There were only a few thousand Mexican settlers north of the Rio Bravo because of Comanche depredations.
