I was explaining the transit strike to my daughter and mentioned Steve Doocey commenting that cars must have four or more passengers to travel in NYC. Is this true? If so, is it just during the busy Christmas season or all the time?

Just between the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m during the week. (Rush hours basically). Once they get into Manhattan of course they can have less people.

The 4 person car bit probably would have been a good move getting out of Louisiana.

Oh yeh....the LA busdrivers weren't on strike...they just said it wasn't in their contract.
