I saw the film yesterday & thought it was really well done. I recommend it as simply a first rate thriller. It's a rare film made for adult audiences, not for the air-head teen market. The director presents both sides of the Mideast conflict fairly. Never pan a movie that you havent personaly seen.

The director presents both sides of the Mideast conflict fairly. And what exactly are the "both sides" that are portrayed "fairly?"

I'll pan it just because Speilburg thinks he has to defend it.
Anythingh worthy of resting on it's own laurels doesn't need to be defended. A concept that evades Hollywood, Good movies don't have to be defended.
It stinks therefore the scam.

Never pan a movie that you havent personaly seen.People are panning the philosophy that Spielberg elaborates upon openly, blatantly and lamely in this very article.
And I don't think anyone who hasn't seen it is commenting ont he cinematography. We know the philosophy. It's been elaborated upon by none other than Spielberg himself and to suggest that one cannot comment upon it without having given money to Spielberg's propaganda effort is nothing short of a cop out.
