I agree, I think the leakers are in congress, and perhaps some recently "dismissed" employees of CIA and/or NSA. I want Dana Priest and the "reporters" from the NYTimes to spend New Years Eve in jail for refusing to identify their sources. I am sick and tired of these "journo's" publishing classified information.

A friend at the Washington Post once described the situation to me as a dump truck backing up to their door every day. He said the question wasn't whether to publish a classified bit of information, but which and how much.

Describing Washington as a sieve does a disservice to those devices that hold back the noodles.

The CIA (Center for Intellectual Arrogance) is heavily populated with area-studies and economic academics who have an agenda to push (usually liberal). Combine in the professional obscurantists from State and the media is hooked up to a fire hose of classified. Not to mention that these people are in the business of hiding what they do.

Any attempt by DoJ is just so much more smoke in Washington--lots of noise, but nothing good will come of it.

Some things need to be reported ... this is one. Using Executive Power to hide criminal offenses is against everything this country stands for ... in 2009 when President Hitlery Clinton has the FBI Mainframes moved to the White House ... and starts blackmailing everyone .... don't complain!

The Laws of this Land never stopped the DIMS from doing what they wanted and getting away with it before...Now all of a sudden the DIMS are going to play fair and not break any laws? I don't think so...

I would say the first place to look for leakers is in Democrat Senators' offices. Where's "Leaky Leahy" at the moment?

'Bout freaking time!

I think hanging of the leakers in front of the rest of congress would make a great example!

Is it unreasonable to tap phone converstations with known or suspected terrorists to protect the lives of millions of Americans. I believe it is.

No one will go to jail. Kerry has escaped jail for treason, Kennedy has escaped jail for vehicular homicide, Clinton has escaped jail for perjury (etc)..... no one will be removed from Congress or sent to jail.

No, it does not.

Who is a "Terrorist"?

This week the FBI declared "Eco-Terrorists" as the greatest Terrorist threat to the United States. I guess that means the WOT is won and over ....

I just found this quote:

"Congressmen who willfully take actions during wartime that damage morale and undermine the military are saboteurs who should be arrested, exiled or hanged."

It's attributed to Abe Lincoln, and I hope he really said it, but so many "Lincoln quotes" have turned out to be fabrications.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause,

There -- that's better.

How is this "unreasonable" in fighting the enemy? Are not searches done every single day with "probable cause"?
