Effective strategies for rural mayhem, but if your chlorine tanks in tunnels only kill some groundhogs, squirrels and deer......

I'm sorry, but I believe they will target the cities. Reno and Vegas are probably in their sights, along with all of the large Pacific coast cities.

I can probably think of dozens of ways for mass murder and mayhem with minimal resources, but I'm not going to post them where a terrorist might see them.

> Here are a few scenarios you might want consider ...

Have, and would never have posted them in public as you did.

Wars are often won because the loser is more incompetent.
Our enemies are idiots, but dangerous idiots. They don't
need people giving them ideas in public.

Both the DNC and the Cutthroat Cult read this site.
They don't need help in their death-to-America campaigns.

If anyone has seen the news from TX and OK lately, fire does one hell of a job destroying everything in it's path. I've often pondered what a single individual could do starting fires when the conditions are like they've been lately. Add more people to the mix and the results would be devastating.

Was kind of wondering if some of these wildfires might not have been targets of opportunity. Not particularly symbolic, though, not a terrorism MO if there is nothing symbolic, in their eyes, anyway.

Rural terrorism?

Here in America?

Anybody consider that the rural parts of America are not filled with a bunch of hand wringing sissies?

Do they think they can "blend in" our rural communities?

We won't send them to jail, we'll send them to he!!.

No, the danger is mainly to our cities, where "the enemies within" often run the show, and where the people are incapable of self defense, (by law, by habit, and by preference).

Please pull this thread. It is downright criminal to give people ideas. You are not remotely the only person who can think about these things, or has, or who knows of scores of vulnerabilities. We just aren't stupid enough or traitor enough to broadcast them to our enemies.

Wyoming has more sheep than people.

And Brokeback Mountain isn't helping...

I know, off-topic.

What would be the economic inpact of blowing up a major oil or Nat Gas pipline crosing a rural area? May not kill a lot of people but sure would get headlines and hurt the economy. How do you defend against it?

Deer rifle and scope, or a pistol and a nondescript van or car with camouflaged firing port.
Target practice on transformers and insulators.

The WMD that will be played now is turning off the oil. Japan buys oil from Iran, so does EU. We are in for a rude awakening. and people still walk around with their heads in the clouds singing Kumbiah.

Weapons of "disruption" could not be recognized as terrorism since they would not appear to be so.

Terrorists like to make big statements.

This would not happen. Wildfires? Please. What nonsense.

I got this as an email joke from my family

A driver is stuck in a traffic jam on the highway. Nothing is moving.
>>>Suddenly a man knocks on the window. The driver rolls down his window
>>>and asks, "What's going on?"
>>>"Terrorists have kidnapped Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry,
>>>Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. They're asking for a $10 million
>>>ransom. Otherwise they're going to douse them with gasoline and set
>>>them on fire. We're going from car to car, taking up a collection."
>>>The driver asks, "How much is everyone giving, on average?"
>>>"About a gallon."
