Gigantopithecus is coming back to reclaim his world from the puny humans. Run, cowards!

Peter Jackson makes the Lord of the Rings, and scientists discover hobbit-like creatures in some remote location. Peter Jackson makes King Kong, and scientists discover a giant ape in some remote location. Hmmmm. Either we have an amazing coincidence, or PJ is some sort of diabolical mad scientist ultra-genius who has taken merchandising too far.

With legs 10 feet, 3 centimeters long, scientists estimate it could have traveled as fast as 4 kilo-furlongs per fortnight.

You know, on a serious note, Kerala is about one third the size of the state of Oregon (which has about 3 million people), but Kerala has, guess how many people? 30 million from what I've read! 10 times more people in one third the space!

I think if there were any giant hairy ape people around they would have stuck out in that dense population some time ago.

"But most sightings reported in various countries, notably in the US, turned out to be either hoaxes or cases of overactive imaginations."

So, this must be true.

Btw, 400 kg is about 816 pounds. Not exactly the weight of a giant.

Hmm. Hybrids such as ligers and mules can be much larger than their respective parents. I wonder...

"However, on December 30 last year, farmers in the forests of Malaysia claimed to have spotted a family of three."

"The team claims to have discovered footprints of a "giant-man" who had a shoe size of 29 inches, lived in a shelter 50 metres high and weighed well over 400 kg."

Didn't Hillary visit India? It would explain much.
