Peter Jackson makes the Lord of the Rings, and scientists discover hobbit-like creatures in some remote location. Peter Jackson makes King Kong, and scientists discover a giant ape in some remote location. Hmmmm. Either we have an amazing coincidence, or PJ is some sort of diabolical mad scientist ultra-genius who has taken merchandising too far.

You know, on a serious note, Kerala is about one third the size of the state of Oregon (which has about 3 million people), but Kerala has, guess how many people? 30 million from what I've read! 10 times more people in one third the space!
I think if there were any giant hairy ape people around they would have stuck out in that dense population some time ago.

"The team claims to have discovered footprints of a "giant-man" who had a shoe size of 29 inches, lived in a shelter 50 metres high and weighed well over 400 kg."Didn't Hillary visit India? It would explain much.
