I admire Oprah very much. The book was gruesome. If it was fiction rather than autobiography, what's the big deal?

The guy submitted it to 17 publishers as a work of fiction and it was rejected 17 times. When he sold the book as a memoir suddenly it was a hit. He lied about himself, he demeaned the efforts of millions of people in recovery and for that he deserves a good ass kicking.

It is sold as a non-fiction biography......rme, which makes the guy a liar not a fiction author. gees. And Oprah still recommends it? She's been had.
