Forget Purell, she needs one of those "Silkwood" anti-radiation showers.

Specter: You're threats to vote again and again don't concern me, I am the chair and you will not run these proceedings.

BAM!

This is getting good...

I'm glad I didn't make a chore run - that was the most animated exchange I've seen between Senators in a long time.

Specter is genuinely angry - to the extent he is unable to hide it.

Grassley, ever the calming person, says to Alito, "You'll be seeing some of the Hail-Mary's - bear with us" (meaning the DEM Senators and Senate as a whole, I take).

That was a nice exchange. Swimmer wanted to break for martinis and Spector said no. I want to hear more from Kennedy about pledges.

Kennedy didn't comply with minimum wage law until the Republicans forced him to -- not sure if it was as late as the 90s but prior to Reagan, he definitely was not complying

I don't have too much respect for the Senate however I do like Grassly. He really seems to have integrity.

WTF? Go Kennedy making a 10 minute fuss right in the middle of the hearings!

Groundwork.

Dems want to force extra rounds.

He did and I think he deserves a nice letter from me for that. That was amazing. Specter was really angry with Kennedy.
