This was explained in further detail yesterday and when you understand the specifics of the case it is a total non-sequiter. Besides the relevant points about mutual funds & the distinction between them and holding stocks in an individual company or Vanguard itself - The fact is that while Vanguard was listed as a defendant in the case they had no real standing in the outcome. The case involved two litigants disputing over whom and how funds that Vanguard held were to be dispursed. Vanguard didn't care whether they paid plaintiff or defendant or whomever / whatever else. They were simply going to be directed by the judgment to pay (a) or (b). The case in no way involved Vanguard proper!

Spectre can be trying at times but this was one of his finest moments.
Kennedy's hands shook badly. At one point he couldn't even pick up the water glass!
Anyone have the audio file of Ted Kennedy ( most probably an impersonator ) asking a nominee about leaving a woman behind in a car, realizing he's been had, then becomes upset and says "it wasn't funny the first item?"
The woman on the left, with short hair, is Alito's wife.
The other woman is not Alito's daughter. His daughter has long blonde hair and is a teenager. She was there yesterday but not today. Perhaps she didn't want to cut classes at high school.
Kennedy deserved being sent to the corner.
MEG, if I had my way, Kennedy would be sent much deeper than the corner......... on a one way ticket!
