I'm glad the theme park won't be built. The area around the mount of Beatitudes is beautiful and unspoiled. It would be a travesty to construct a theme park there, and it would be an insult to the Christian religion to build a "Galilee Theme Park" in Israel. I spent three weeks in Israel last year with my family, including my four children, and they didn't need a "theme park" to keep them interested. Every day was a thrill, just to be in the land and to visit the places where Jesus lived and taught. If you need a roller coaster to make your trip to Israel interesting, then I would suggest you're making the trip for the wrong reasons. Save your money and go to Orlando instead.
The plans for the Park include a garden and nature park, an auditorium, a Holy Land exhibition, outdoor amphitheatres, information centre and a media studio.Doesn't sound like the Disneyland-style park you all are trying to make it out to be. Sounds pretty reasonable to me.
