Mall's are private property and entered by me (rarely)by my consent. Same as my neighbors house - public schools are Publicly funded, mandated and participation is strictly enforced (all to my great dismay).

A school is government property, and the government, unlike a private property owner, cannot under the 2nd Amendment infringe upon the right to bear arms.

Sure, it's a private business. They can't throw you in jail or fine you for it though, unless you refuse to leave when asked, then it's trespassing. A school, except a private school, is a public place, and is at least quasi governmental as well. They are restricted by the constitution, whereas the mall management is not.

The mall is PRIVATE property. So, yes their policy can "trump" your constitutional rights. But that doesn't mean you have to patronize their stores.
