It's early yet. There's no buzz that Bill Nelson is a human dynamo either. I have form letters from Nelson. I don't know if he's ever really helped anybody. People assume he must be good because he's been there so long. Maybe he's vying to be the next Senator Byrd.

Katherine Harris has helped real people and so has Congressman Bill Young.

Perception is everything.

In the last six months or more Sen. Bill Nelson has suddenly become conservative. He has suddenly become a supporter of our military.

And, our own Senator Martinez has helped Nelson's image statewide by joining with him on a number of issues.

Nelson also puts out his astronaut ride in space. That helps too.

Most people are just not knowledgeable and pride themselves on voting for the person rather than the party.

Bill Nelson has been in the Senate for less than 6 years, so I don't think he can boast about his longevity and seniority just yet. For the sake of comparison, Robert Byrd has been in the Senate for almost 48 years, *42 years longer than Nelson*.
