What does the past record of a war hero matter if today he commits a treasonous act?!

So has Murtha signed-off on an SF-180 that allows anyone
to check out all his records?
We still don't have one for Kerry.

> What does the past record of a war hero matter ...
If he's a real war hero, and isn't relying on it
for political advantage, then it doesn't matter.

If Murtha is holding himself out as something he is not, his fraud needs to be exposed.

All I'm saying is that a Saint who becomes an unrepentant murderer is still an unrepentant murderer, and their past good deeds won't offset any of their offenses today.
Not only this, but the damage done by recent wrong doings have very real repercussions. I just don't see how the past actions of any war hero accounts for much when they are traitors today.
The real irony is that Murtha expects a reverence which he himself refuses to give to those who serve today!

In a tactic reminiscent of the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth assault on Sen. John F. Kerry (D-Mass.) during the 2004 presidential campaign... We need to be careful. The reason the Swift Boat Vets were so successful is that they were telling the truth. If we come out with a thing like this and then it turns out to be a fake, it makes us look bad and bolsters Murtha's position.
Not arguin'... just sayin'.....

Come to think of it, has L. Brent Bozell signed off on an SF-180?

I hope these people are air tight and as clean as possible. There's nothing the leftists would like more than to retaliate after the gutting Kerry received.
If Murtha the moron is dirty or not, anyone who goes after another "War Hero" is going to take a beating.
Personally, Murtha has lost all currency he might have had regarding his military service. Anything uncovered out of his past could do nothing to smear his name more than his own cowardice has.

Real war heroes don't say the things Murtha, Kerry, Clark, or other critics have said.

L. Brent Bozell signed off on an SF-180? Ha Bozell hyped his veteran status, assuming he has it, in support of his political position, including his questioning of Murtha? If not, then it's irrelevant. Murtha has been using his status, and his medals and decorations, in support of his attacks on President Bush, and his nonsupport of today's Veterans to be.

War Heros can be asshats too.....a chest full of medals isn't a free pass for the rest of ones days be they a good guy or a bad guy.
I bestow my highest respect and thanks to all veterans be they adorned with medals or not but when they screw the pooch per se and make a boo boo I will not hesitate to tell em to STFU !
Murtha needs to STFU regardless of his record in this case because he is wrong .

It's hard to believe that someone who is an honest to goodness war hero....would allow himself to be lead around by his nose, by some one as insipid as Nancy Pelosi...
That just doesn't add up!

Come to think of it, has L. Brent Bozell signed off on an SF-180? Last I checked, L. Brent Bozell isn't claiming that he has a special right to speak, which others don't share, due to past military success. Nice try.
