I'm not sure if thats true.
I have several friends who are claims reps at progressive and I know for a fact that progressive has paid out without litigation numerious times (on the cases my friends worked on), and one of them is being promoted soon.
FWIW, don't trust Geico either, its owned by Buffett, and he is also a big dem donor (depending on his moods).
I have USAA and love it. Membership is only open to Military officers/NCOs and family members. I did not know that Buffett owned GEICO. Buffett was a big Klinton supporter. I don't like him.
