That word always reminds me of my finest hour in HS American History. Someone asked the teacher what happened to the Tories after we beat the British in the Revolution. I shouted out, "They survived, now we just call the Canadians!"
THAT is amazing. Really it is. They never got a single seat in 2004 and only got 6.2% in votes. This is a real breakthrough and backlash both at the same time.
