To tell you the truth I live here in AK and I wish I could do a cruise near Augustine! Its not like its a Mt. ST Helens or a Krakatoa. Don't cancel travel plans as this volcano will most likely go back to sleep in a couple of days and stay quiet for years.

I am planning a trip to Fairbanks this weekend specifically for some aurora watching. I'm not sure which way the ash cloud has been moving. Do you think it will interfere with my viewing?
