I disagree here. In order to exercise one's right to keep and bear arms, one must actually keep and bear arms. I know in some locales it's difficult. Carrying in NJ (unless you're blowing a judge) is damn near impossible.

Several years ago I spent a weekend with a college friend. She is married to a New York Liberal. Talk turned to guns and he said no one should be allowed to own a gun. As an NRA member, I disagreed. He then stated the Left's real reason for gun banning:

"If I had a gun I'd kill some people I know. I mean that literally. I hate them so much that I'd shoot them. That's why no one should be allowed to have a gun. I'd kill some people I know."

As Dave Barry would say, "I am not making this up." This is the Liberal argument: they are so vile and hateful that gun control is necessary to keep them from killing people they don't like.
