I once heard, back early in 2002, from that liberal loudmouth Jon Stewart say that the Israelis and Palestinians were basically a good people, that it was the fault of Sharon and Arafat for all this violence .

Sharon did not create this quagmire, it has been building since 1948 .
Arafat did not invent the PLO - Egyptian President Nasser did in 1966 .

It is typical from a NYC talk-show host to make politically correct excuses for the Palestinians - -
would he make the same excuse for the Germans of the 1930's ?

Don't attack Pat Buchanan for being critical of Israel .
It is about time for someone on the Right to not to be afraid to do so !

Being even slightly critical of Israel, showing even the smallest support for Pat Buchanan will cause you trouble. The correct response is that we must "kill all the Arabs" (the question does not matter).
