Shadegg is great...but Pence would have held on to the Freshman conservatives like Poe,McMorris,Foxx,McHenry,etc.Pence should run for President!

Of the 42 votes up for grabs, Blunt only needs six so he's pretty much a lock.

I think Boehner will win, because the Shadegg supporters will prefer him, most likely.

Boehner is not ideal, but better than Blunt by a long shot.
