That's right. They have no idea.
If the Islamics triumph, it will only because of aid given by The West itself.
Either by active assistance or by passivity.
That was a big factor in the ability of the Islamics to take the
Iberian peninsula.

Washington must talk about democracy in the Arab world.... as in the Jewish joke about the man who sees a shop whose windows are full of clocks. He enters and tells the proprietor, "I want to buy a clock." The proprietor responds, "I don't sell clocks." "Then what do you do?" "I am a mohel [ritual circumciser]." "Then why do you put clocks in the window?" "What do you want me to put in the window?"
..we sell clocks
Yes. It's a cultural war. A war between civilizations of which our cultural institutions e.g. "multiculturalism" and various liberal bastions of "thinking" are ill equipped.
The A*sslifters are innumerate. If they claim a billion strong smelling. It is axiomatic that there are five billion that will ultimately oppose them. They must have shi'ite for brains!
I really wonder about this guy. One of the things about writing with a pseudonym is that it's harder to dismiss, even when it's complete nonsense, because you don't have a real name or face or background to pin the article on. A look at Michael Kinsley or George Will and -- agree with them or not -- you know who you're dealing with. "Spengler" seems like a very weak fellow who's fascinated by strength and force, but since we don't know anything about him, that's only speculation.
The thing about "Radical Islam winning" is that if Muslims become more of the population in Europe and Islam gets more powerful you're going to see a major, even an extreme reaction, and afterwards it's hard to say who will win or what will come next. If he wants to count that as a victory for the terrorists, it may well be, but that's not the final word.
I also don't think "Spengler" really understands America. He wants to reduce countries to ideas or concepts, but that doesn't always work. What's characteristic of America is the mixture of modern secular political ideas with a very religious culture. That's a very different situation from what has prevailed in Europe or Asia, and I don't think "Spengler" sees the consequences.
