Chile?! Was their embassy just on the same route as the Danish one?

Ever notice that these signs always seem to be in English? Not arabic. And notice that in this case, not in Danish.

Before going to bed last night, I just *knew* I'd wake up to more news of other embassy attacks.

My thought is this: These Islamists' plan was to beat the various nations (Denmark, Norway, etc) into submission, and when they didn't get that, they started pulling this crap. So, instead of succeeding in forcing their will on Western nations, they are succeeding in building perhaps the biggest blowback and opposition to their bogus "plight" yet. They overplayed their hand big-time here, it appears.

Where was the Christian neighborhood? Beirut?

There was a thread last night about muzzies ganging up on Danes in Copenhagen, but with no links and just a supposed blogosphere source, it was on rather shakey legs.

However these roaming bands communicating by cell phone and palm pilot was the tactic used during the French riots.

Excellent point- they are catering to the Western audience. Also seem to be lettered by the same hand. I call it "manufactured outrage."

I see. I guess it wouldn't have mattered to them if every country had their embassies in the same building.

The islamofascists are "probing" the West by attacking this small European country's foreign offices to test the results of the West, particularly the media coverage. Stay tuned, this culture clash has only just begun, after simmering on the back burner for the past 30 years in Europe..it will get worse. It is inevitable.

Manufactured outrage is right! Manufactured outrage used as an excuse for trying to strong-arm Western nations into controlling their press and the flow of information to suit Islamic Law. NEVER!

Eyes are open and opening all over the world, FINALLY.

Just saw that alleged news story on CNN. The jihadists were referred to by CNN as "demonstrators."

They will be referred to as "demonstrators" until a journalist is attacked and then they will become concerned about the behavior of these idiots and the effect of violence on journalists covering the story. That's the only time the media starts to feel anything.

Sure it's planned. The whole thing has been planned by radicals.

"Al-Sistani, who wields enormous influence over Iraq's majority Shiites, made no call for protests and suggested that militant Muslims were partly to blame for distorting Islam's image.
"He referred to "misguided and oppressive" segments of the Muslim community and said their actions "projected a distorted and dark image of the faith of justice, love and brotherhood."

"Interestingly, the row in Denmark has led to the formation of a group called "Moderate Muslims" who are angry and scared of the fundamentalist reaction to the cartoons. They are sick and tired of the imams who claim to speak for all muslims." (comment from eurotwit)

From FoxNews:

The thugs in Beirut climbed up each flight of the stairwell of the consulate building and set fire to each floor. I think it's an AP person (Yasmina Ykelenstam) they are interviewing and she called them "demonstrators" too.

Also saying it is the Austrian consulate, not just the Danish consulate.

The streets are littered with embassy papers.

Dig a little deeper and I think you'll find that International ANSWER has a hand in all of this.
