Holding happens on every play, everybody knows that. The question is did the hold EFFECT the play, and in this case the hold kept the defender from the QB allowing him to make a pass we otherwise wouldn't have, so the hold needed to be called.
On that play, I saw steelers (the one 'held') offsides, then the hold.... I was calling offsides before the pass was even made. Again, I have no stakes, just the worst calls I've seen in awhile....
I didn't see offsides, of course I wasn't looking for it so that doesn't mean you're wrong, just means I didn't see pre-snap movement.
