Pittsburgh won, deservedly.

The Seahawks dominated play in the first half but had a couple of critical penalties and failed to take advantage of opportunities. Also, Hasselbeck threw a couple of great passes - - but out of bounds. Game of inches.

Pittsburgh got better as the game progressed and even overcame a big interception of a lousy pass from Rothlisberger. The crew had the guts to try a couple of gadget plays and they worked. Cowers mixed it up and called a better game than Holmgren.

By the way, the refereeing was fine. They had the guts to uphold one call and overturn another on replay review - - they got the calls right.

Congratulations to the Steelers and their fans.

Thank you for being civil. Steeler fans endured a lot of trash talking, so we talked back. I wish we wouldn't have had to but that's how it went.

I'm sure glad the Steelers backed us up with a win. Maybe there will be a rematch next year and the Seahawks can have another shot at it. It is no fun losing the big game and I guess I can understand their grief and sorrow.

Thanks again. You are a real sport in the finest sense of the word.

You did a great rundown of the game. Congrats to Steeler fans. Seahawks should feel no shame either. After all, they made it to the Super Bowl.
