Nope. 4 points if the call isn't made. Wouldn't have changed the game. there were a lot of bad calls the other way I saw....constant holding by the Hawks not called. Don't know the actual rule of down by contact, or the fumble earlier...lots of bad calls against the Steelers as well.

The others you are simply wrong about. Steelers won the game cause the Hawks didn't finish at the end of the first half.

I really didn't have a dawg in the fight.....had your Hawks made the plays they would have won. Sorry....that's the truth, Hawks didn't finish.

Period.

I believe the deal with that is, if the runner is touched by an opponent and he hits the ground, the ground can not cause a fumble because he's down by contact. If he falls down on his own, and the ball squirts out the ground can cause a fumble. That's how I understand it, anyway.

The non-call on Stevens fumble actually helped the Steelers; they would have got the ball inside the 20; as it was, they got a little better field position after the ensuing punt.
