Missed some stuff -- but appeals courts have found that FISA admits the president has constitutional authority to do whatever necessary.
Presidents throughout our history have used warrantless wiretapping.
Washington
Lincoln
Wilson - every cable in and out of US was copied
Roosevelt - authority to review cables and telecommunications between US and foreign country.

No Kidding.. spectre is a wimp... he is AT BEST a liberal republican.
Anyway, point is, he will NOT even think for a second about being offended and coming to the defence of the pres or other republicans.
HOWEVER, disrespect his authority, and it seems to give him some temporary backbone.
I'm glad the dems did it early, should give us a round or so of specture with balls.
